52 Plus Joker – Playing Card Collectors Association
For collectors, part of the fun of playing cards is discovering the history and artwork behind each deck. 52 Plus Joker is a nonprofit playing-card collectors' association founded in 1985. It brings together enthusiasts of antique, vintage, and modern playing cards, along with artists, designers, historians, and others who appreciate the craft.
The association publishes Clear the Decks, a quarterly magazine, and Card Culture, a monthly digital publication. Members can also enjoy an annual convention, auctions, and specially produced club decks. Whether you're just starting a collection or researching a favorite historic brand, 52 Plus Joker offers a welcoming community and a wealth of playing-card knowledge.
At ClassicDecks, we share that enthusiasm for classic brands, distinctive designs, and the stories behind playing cards. We invite fellow enthusiasts to explore the association.
