Classic Monsters Playing Cards brings familiar horror-film creatures together in a fully custom poker-size deck. Black and gray artwork, weathered backgrounds, illustrated suit symbols, and monster portraits give the cards the atmosphere of vintage horror cinema. With custom courts, Aces, Jokers, and card backs, this deck offers plenty to explore during Halloween game nights or as part of a horror-themed collection.
A Cast of Classic Monsters
The court cards combine forward-facing portraits with smaller profile illustrations, giving each character a distinctive presentation. The cast spans vampires, reanimated creatures, giant monsters, and mysterious figures from classic horror:
- Kings: Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula, the Wolf-Man, and the Mummy.
- Queens: the Bride of Frankenstein, Godzilla, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and King Kong.
- Jacks: the Phantom of the Opera, Nosferatu, the Invisible Man, and the Mad Scientist.
Custom Details Throughout the Deck
The number cards continue the theme with illustrated pips incorporating stitched hearts, watchful eyes, winged diamonds, and claw-like forms. Each Ace features a hand holding a sculpted suit symbol, while two sinister clown portraits serve as the Jokers.
The card backs frame mirrored portraits of Frankenstein’s Monster within ornate decoration and white borders. The coordinating black tuck box features a large monster portrait on the front and the mirrored back design on the reverse.
