Sleep Walk Playing Cards invite you into a quiet, whimsical world somewhere between being awake and falling asleep. Designed by Lunzi for Smooth Writing, the deck uses entirely hand-drawn artwork to tell a visual story built around bedrooms, pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, alarm clocks and the strange logic of dreams.

The concept unfolds as a journey: through the door, into the room, toward the bed, into sleep and finally into the dream beyond. That progression appears throughout the deck, giving Sleep Walk the feeling of an illustrated story rather than simply a collection of customized playing cards.

The court cards become sleepy characters tucked into bed and accompanied by comforting stuffed animals, while custom Aces, hand-drawn suit symbols and playful details extend the theme across the entire deck. The two Jokers feature a jester balancing on a unicycle while tossing pillows, including both a colored and line-art interpretation.

The one-way card back depicts a neatly made blue bed, creating one of the deck's most memorable visual features. Cream-colored faces, blue and black line work and small warm accents give Sleep Walk a nostalgic storybook character that feels both vintage and contemporary.
