Sorcerer’s Apprentice Holographic Gilded Playing Cards combine an openly readable marking system with silver holographic sparkle edges. This Penguin Magic edition is limited to 400 individually numbered decks.
Marked Backs and Woodcut-Style Faces
Douglas Fuchs’s illustrations draw on Goethe’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice, with art direction by Kevin Reylek. The blue-and-white backs conceal suit-and-value markings within spellbooks, brooms, and water motifs. Custom courts, Aces, and Jokers carry the theme across the deck.
