Large Print Playing Cards

Make every hand easier to see without changing the way you play. Our large print playing cards include specialty easy-read decks with bold markings, bridge-size options that are comfortable to hold, and selected jumbo-index cards for everyday games. Whether you're buying for a family member, a bridge partner, or your own weekly game, choose by how clearly you can identify the numbers and suits.

Find the Right Easy-Read Playing Cards

Not all large print decks use the same approach to visibility. These options are a useful place to start:

• Extra-bold printing and color-coded suits: Bicycle E-Z-See LoVision uses especially large letters and numbers and four suit colors to help players identify cards at a glance. The red-and-blue two-deck set uses familiar poker-size cards.
• Large print in a narrower card: Bicycle Bridge Large Print combines bold corner markings with bridge-size cards, a practical option when holding a full hand for bridge or canasta.
• Clear corner markings for bridge: Piatnik Opti-Bridge offers oversized rank and suit markings on a bridge-size deck.
• Easy reading with durable cards: Selected jumbo-index decks from Copag and Modiano offer large corner markings on 100% plastic cards, suitable for groups that play frequently.

What Matters When Choosing Large Print Cards?

Printing size is not the same as card size. Most large print decks still use familiar poker-size or bridge-size cards. Poker-size cards are wider; bridge-size cards are narrower and can be more comfortable when holding many cards at once. Compare the product photographs to see how much space the numbers and suit symbols occupy.

Contrast and suit colors also matter. Some players prefer traditional red-and-black suits with larger indices. Others find the four-color suits on Bicycle E-Z-See LoVision helpful for distinguishing hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. The right layout depends on the individual player.

Match the deck to the game. A single deck works for many games, while canasta typically calls for two decks. For frequent club or family play, consider whether you prefer the familiar feel of coated paper or the durability of 100% plastic.

Large Print vs. Jumbo Index

Jumbo index describes larger corner numbers and suit symbols. Large print describes the broader goal of easier card recognition, including specialty easy-read layouts. Some decks fit both categories.

Large Print Playing Cards FAQ

Are large print playing cards physically bigger?

Usually not. The printing is larger, but the cards themselves generally retain regular poker or bridge dimensions. Check each product's size before ordering.

What should I choose for someone who finds ordinary cards difficult to read?

Start by comparing the actual faces. Bicycle E-Z-See LoVision has particularly bold, color-coded markings, while Bicycle Bridge Large Print offers large indices in a narrower card. The best choice depends on the player's preferred size, colors, and game.
